Shield holds protection in place.

It becomes visible
as boundaries form with clarity.

*Aelthira. *

Held in breath, the world remains whole.

Protector of life, barrier of safety, circle of defence.

[This symbol also exists in form](https://www.houseofveyrion.com.au/stones/shield)

## origins

From bronze shields of Greece to painted Celtic rounds, shields carried both power and story, protection joined with identity.

## meaning

Safety, defence, honour. The shield symbolises boundaries that guard what is sacred.

## today

A shield speaks of resilience, personal limits, and the courage to protect self and community.

## practice

Visualise a glowing shield around you. Ask: what do I need to guard so my energy stays clear?

## endurance

The shield endures because every age calls for protection. Not to hide, but to hold safe what matters.
