This one holds reflection.
Within its quiet surface
earth and stars meet.
Not as opposites,
but as one field
seen from two directions.

Practice
Sit quietly for three breaths.
Imagine a small stone mirror
resting in your hands.
See the night sky reflected there.
Now slowly notice:
the reflection
and the one who sees it
share the same light.
Remain with that
for a moment.
