STONE

The Eye of Silence

A marker of quiet seeing

Engraved stone with an eye symbol representing The Eye of Silence threshold marker from the Pilgrimage of Becoming in House of Veyrion.

The Stone

This stone carries the form of a single eye resting within the surface of the stone.

The lines of the symbol are calm and balanced, suggesting perception that emerges not from effort but from still attention. The eye appears open without strain, observing quietly.

The engraving allows the form to reveal itself slowly as light moves across the stone.

In the hand the stone feels attentive and calm, reflecting the moment when awareness becomes clear through silence.

The gaze rests.
The seeing deepens.

The Marker

The Eye of Silence represents perception that arises from stillness.

Within the pilgrimage there are moments when understanding appears not through analysis but through quiet observation. When the noise of reaction falls away, perception becomes sharper.

The eye does not chase what it sees.

It simply remains open.

This marker invites the traveller to recognise the clarity that appears when silence is allowed to deepen.

In the Making

The engraving was shaped through a balanced series of curved lines that establish the eye form.

The outer line was traced first to create the structure of the symbol. The central circle was then placed carefully within the form to anchor the gaze.

As light moves across the surface the eye gradually becomes more visible.

The stone holds the mark quietly, reflecting the calm presence of silent observation.
