The Movement Stones of Aereth

Breath and Stillness

A mark of quiet rhythm

The WInged Gate

The Stone

This stone carries a curved arc resting above a small wing.

The arc forms a gentle shelter, while the wing suggests motion beneath it.

Together they create a shape that feels both held and alive.

Held in the hand the stone feels calm, yet quietly active.

The form does not rush.

It breathes.

The Symbol

The arc represents stillness — the space that surrounds and holds movement.

The wing beneath it represents breath, the subtle rhythm that moves through living things.

Together they form a symbol of balance between motion and quiet.

Breath within stillness.
Movement within rest.

In the Making

The arc was carved first to establish the protective curve above the form.

The wing was then engraved beneath it so the motion would appear to rest inside the arc.

When light moves across the stone the upper curve casts a soft shadow, giving the form the feeling of breath moving beneath a quiet horizon.
