THE BRIDGE OF RESONANCE
A marker of shared understanding

The Stone
This stone carries a symbol shaped like a bridge rising gently between two points.
A curved arc connects the sides of the form, suggesting a passage that allows movement from one presence to another. The structure appears simple and balanced within the surface of the stone.
The engraving allows the arc to emerge gradually as light shifts across the stone.
In the hand the stone feels relational and open, reflecting the moment when distance between two positions begins to close.
The path appears.
The crossing becomes possible.
The Marker
The Bridge of Resonance represents the moment when understanding begins to form between two perspectives.
Within the pilgrimage there are many moments when difference appears between people, ideas, or positions. Resonance emerges when listening allows a connection to form where separation once existed.
The bridge does not erase difference.
It creates a path across it.
This marker invites the traveller to recognise when a crossing has become possible and to move carefully across that space.

In the Making
The engraving was shaped by tracing the arc of the bridge across the surface of the stone.
The two ends of the form were established first before the connecting curve was carved between them.
As light moves across the stone the bridge shape becomes more visible.
The stone holds the mark quietly, reflecting the path that appears when resonance is found.
