In the Making
The central horizon line was carved first to establish the balance of the form.
The rising arc above it was then engraved to suggest a sun or distant light appearing at the edge.
The lower lines were added softly to create the sense of reflection or depth beneath the horizon.
When light moves across the stone the lines create gentle shadows, reinforcing the feeling of distance within the surface.
