In the Making
The outline of the lion was traced first to establish the stance of the figure.
The body and limbs were then engraved with simple continuous lines so the form retained its calm strength.
The engraving remains balanced so light moves across the surface without breaking the silhouette.
The lion stands quietly.
Yet nothing passes unseen.
