Moon
A mark of rhythm and returning light

The Stone
This stone carries a crescent form carved gently into its surface.
The curve settles naturally into the stone, following a single uninterrupted line. Light gathers along the edge of the engraving while the inner arc rests in shadow.
In the hand the stone feels calm and reflective, its presence quiet but steady.
The form is subtle.
The rhythm is constant.
The Symbol
The moon has long symbolised the movement of cycles.
It reflects light rather than producing it, reminding us that clarity often comes through reflection rather than force. The waxing and waning crescent speaks of renewal, return and the quiet passage of time.
Across cultures the moon has marked rhythm — tides, seasons, sleep and waking.
It does not rush.
It returns.

In the Making
The crescent was first traced as a single balanced curve.
The inner arc was then deepened carefully until the shape settled into the stone without losing its softness. The surrounding surface was left untouched so the natural texture of the earth remains visible.
When light moves across the engraving, the moon appears to shift between presence and shadow; a quiet reminder that all cycles unfold through change.
