The Symbol
Across traditions resonance has symbolised harmony between forces.
When one tone is sounded another may begin to vibrate in response.
The circular form reflects this shared movement.
An offering of resonance does not impose.
It simply allows the right tone to answer.

In the Making
The circular form was carved first so the stone would retain a centred balance.
The inner movement was then engraved lightly to preserve the feeling of quiet vibration within the surface.
When light moves across the engraving the form appears to shift subtly, giving the stone a sense of resonance continuing through stillness.
