The Stone
This stone carries a series of concentric lines that settle around a quiet centre.
Each ring rests within the next, forming a structure that draws the eye inward rather than outward. The natural texture of the stone remains visible between the lines, grounding the form within the material itself.
In the hand the stone feels calm and steady.
The movement circles.
The centre remains.
The Symbol
The Still Core represents the point of balance within movement.
It marks the centre that remains unchanged even as the surrounding world turns. A place of orientation that does not depend on direction.
Across traditions the circle has symbolised wholeness and continuity. In this form the rings return attention to the quiet space at the centre.
It does not move.
Everything moves around it.

In the Making
The central circle was carved first to establish the point of stillness.
Each surrounding ring was then deepened gradually, maintaining equal distance so the form remained balanced within the stone.
As light passes across the engraving the rings appear to expand gently from the centre.
