Still Water Offering
A mark of quiet offering

The Stone
This stone carries a small circular form resting within a gentle curve.
The shape suggests water held in stillness — a surface undisturbed, yet alive with quiet depth.
Unlike symbols of movement, this form invites pause.
Held in the hand the stone feels calm and reflective.
An offering placed without urgency.
A moment of still water.
The Symbol
Across cultures still water has symbolised reflection, presence and clarity.
The circular form represents the vessel of the offering.
The surrounding curve reflects the quiet surface of water that receives it.
Together they form a sign of simple presence.
An offering that does not seek attention.
Only stillness.

The Ritual Stones of Aereth
the Circle of Offering
In the Making
The circular form was carved first to establish the centre of the offering.
The surrounding curve was then engraved to suggest the quiet surface of water around it.
When light moves across the stone the shallow curve catches the light softly, giving the impression of a still pool resting within the surface.
